Horse finishes NFR barrel racing run alone after rider falls mid-race

Sometimes the plan changes, but the finish line stays the same.

This video captures a moment no script could predict.

During round seven of the NFR Barrel Racing Competition, the energy was high and the stakes were higher.

In a sudden twist, a rider was flung from the saddle, leaving the arena gasping as the race took an unexpected turn.

That was when the horse, Peanut, decided the show was far from over.

The horse powered through the course alone, barrels flying past as if nothing had changed.
