00:00Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is launching simultaneously on all platforms, including PC.
00:08Never would have made it this far without you guys.
00:12And I won't let you down.
00:14I promise.
00:17At last, the promise is fulfilled.
00:21So, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Revelation, a series of words I am struggling to get in the correct
00:26order,
00:27got a new trailer at Summer Game Fest, and I'm not going to school you on the Final Fantasy 7
00:31-ness of it all
00:32because I actually was a PS2-era JRPG kid, so I started with Final Fantasy X and never played Final
00:38Fantasy 7.
00:39I'm sorry, don't be mad at me, but maybe I will now when the full remake is complete in Spring
00:442027,
00:45according to the new trailer, where it will be launching simultaneously on console and on PC.
00:51On both Steam and the Epic Store is what it looks like.
00:55So there won't be that Epic Store exclusivity period for people who won't want to play it on Steam immediately.
01:01It's all going to be launching on all platforms at the same time.
01:05Thank goodness.
01:06The first part of the series took about a year and a half to get from PlayStation to PC,
01:11and then Rebirth, I think, was about a year to come from PlayStation to PC.
01:16It just feels nice right now when, like, Sony is stepping back from bringing some of its biggest specialist series
01:22to PC, right?
01:24They're kind of walking back on the PC versions of things, and then Take-Two saying that the PC players
01:30aren't, like, the core audience.
01:31The console players are the core audience for GTA VI, and we're not going to get that simultaneously either.
01:37So it kind of feels bad to not be getting simultaneous launches that I feel like I was getting spoiled
01:42on and getting used to.
01:44But thanks, Final Fantasy.
01:45We're actually going to be able to finish the end of the Final Fantasy remake with everybody else and not
01:50have to wait for it.
01:51And that is going to be in Spring 2027.
01:53So let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
