00:00Got to tell you, man, one of my favorite organizations in all of pro football
00:04is clearly the Los Angeles Rams.
00:08I love how the Rams run their organization.
00:13Let's need it.
00:13Kevin Damoff, the general manager and president of that organization,
00:17have only used three first-round picks in the last 11 years
00:23to build that franchise up.
00:25And now they're on the cusp of going into the 2026 season with a loaded deck.
00:32And what I mean by loaded deck is that's got to be one of the best rosters I've ever seen
00:37heading into an NFL football season during the salary cap era.
00:41You go out and you end up getting the best defensive football player maybe since Ray Lewis
00:47and maybe the best pass rusher since we saw Lawrence Taylor rushing the passer
00:53at the perimeter at the outside linebacker spot.
00:56I got to tell you, man, I just absolutely love what the Rams have done.
01:00The Rams have gone out also, and they ended up getting, again, and bringing players in.
01:06And now they're talking about potentially bringing in a guy that they're going to bring back
01:11into the football team, Aaron Donald.
01:15You get Trent McDuffie, also from the Kansas City Chiefs.
01:18You make him the highest-paid corner, and now Aaron Donald may have an opportunity
01:24at also joining that roster.
01:27Folks, the Rams are loaded.
01:30Sean McVay is 40 years old.
01:33Remember what I said earlier in the show?
01:36If you have these three dynamics, if you have a head football coach,
01:41if you have a quarterback, and if you have a front office slash owner that knows what they're doing
01:49when it comes to being able to build a football team, you've got yourself a chance to win a Super
01:55Bowl.
01:56Stan Kroenke is the best owner in all of pro sports.
02:01He owns a Premier League championship.
02:03He owns an MLS championship.
02:06He owns an NHL championship.
02:08He owns an NBA championship, and, of course, he owns a Super Bowl title with the Rams.
02:15That's what makes Kroenke sports the best.
02:18These folks are about star power and about winning.
02:23And you add this, Sean McVay.
02:26Look, you can be very critical of how he handles football games two minutes at the half
02:32and two minutes at the end of games,
02:34on whether or not he's got the Andy Reid disease when he had and all that stuff going on with
02:39Andy
02:39when Andy was in Philadelphia.
02:41Andy had clock management issues, too.
02:43But make no mistake, you're looking at a young version of Don Shula with Sean McVay.
02:51Sean McVay has done things.
02:54At the age of 40, he's won 100 football games already, numerous division titles,
03:01and now he's got the best roster in all of football.
03:05Now, we all know this.
03:07In the National Football League, does that necessarily say you're going to go on and win a Super Bowl?
03:14Look, stars don't win Super Bowls.
03:17The collective win Super Bowls.
03:20The Rams have the best roster.
03:23Will that play out by the end of the year?
03:26Will that play out to see the Rams win a Super Bowl
03:30and put another championship next to Matthew Stafford's name?
03:35Stafford, since he has been a Ram, has been electric and has been great.
03:39Coming off an MVP season, Sean McVay is easily one of the best play callers
03:43in all the National Football League,
03:45and now you get an opportunity to sit there and talk a little bit.
