00:00How did we get here where we have the number one game this weekend
00:06is the Raiders hosting the Chiefs.
00:09The Raiders come back being down nearly, I think it was double digits, right?
00:1527-16.
00:16They were down 11 points in the fourth quarter to the Saints.
00:19Four fourth quarter turnovers for New Orleans.
00:23And the Raiders are somehow 3-0, whose win total preseason was 6.5.
00:30Six and a half.
00:32Six and a half, and they've got three wins and three.
00:35Clint Kubiak hasn't lost in a long time.
00:39Clint Kubiak, I mean, the win streak for Seattle got snapped yesterday
00:44after winning 12 straight football games.
00:47Kubiak's is still going.
00:48He wins.
00:49The Chiefs win.
00:51And we have a game on Sunday between Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins
00:56that I wish they could flex games now because that game should be in primetime.
01:00Like, that game is unbelievable.
01:01It's going to be great.
01:02It's one of the biggest regular season games in Vegas NFL history.
01:08There's been some big ones.
01:09Like, late in the year, there were some big ones.
01:11The last time the Chiefs and the Raiders played a really big regular season game
01:16was during the COVID year in 2020 when the Chiefs were 8-1 and the Raiders were 6-2.
01:25And that was a big game.
01:26I mean, that was before first place.
01:28And it was like, that was six years ago during COVID.
01:31There were no fans in the stands.
01:33It's been a minute since we've had this opportunity to watch and see how it's all going to play out.
01:38So, to me, when you look at this on Sunday, it's not as open and shut as people are going
01:46to make it out to be.
01:47The opening line was 4-1⁄2.
01:504-1⁄2 for KC on the road at Allegiant.
01:54There's going to be a lot of red in that building.
01:57Raider fans have this big initiative from the team to keep Chief fans out of the building.
02:04I don't think it's going to work, but there is a buzz for the Raiders.
02:09I'll tell you right now, there's a buzz for this football team.
02:12And like I said, Kirk Cousins should play the entire year.
02:17Mendoza shouldn't see the field, period, until Kirk, if Kirk gets hurt.
02:23But let him play.
02:25He knows the offense.
02:27The team clearly is good with him being the quarterback.
02:30And Max Crosby played his ass off last night.
02:33So, Max Crosby was so good for the Raiders.
02:37He made Tyler Shuck's life a living hell yesterday.
02:40And that defense, there's some really good young talent on that Raider defense that's not getting talked about nearly enough.
02:48There's something cooking here.
02:49I'm not saying the Raiders are going to be in the playoffs.
02:51I'm not saying the Raiders are going to be in the Super Bowl.
02:53I'm just saying there's something going on where teams go from last to first.
02:57It happens every year.
02:59There's that one.
03:00Patriots last year.
03:01There's just that one team that comes out of nowhere.
03:04And by the time we get to Thanksgiving, everyone's like, holy crap, that team's good.
03:08The Raiders might be that team.
