00:00And let's talk Kentucky LSU, who go head-to-head here,
00:04which leads to a Dave and I head-to-head at 8.5.
00:09This is a little bit about fading Kentucky,
00:12who are down 17-0 to South Carolina.
00:16But a lot of it has to do with the fact that I think LSU
00:20are really, really, really good.
00:22And I think they can roll here.
00:24I think the big gap are the two rush defenses,
00:29where Kentucky could bleed a little bit.
00:31And I think LSU are incredible.
00:34And I think as this game goes on, they just extend, extend, extend,
00:38somewhat similar to what Alabama did in this spot.
00:42I think we talked earlier about how Oregon's schedule has aged well,
00:46and I would say that LSU's has not.
00:48They beat the crap out of Clemson.
00:50How good is Clemson?
00:51We saw Miami blow them out.
00:52They beat A&M.
00:53A&M lost to Kentucky, the same team LSU's playing this week.
00:57LSU loses at Ole Miss.
00:59Their defense has been outstanding, no doubt.
01:01Top three nationally and defensive EPA per play,
01:04defensive success allowed, passing success, et cetera.
01:07And despite them putting up outstanding offensive numbers,
01:10Kentucky has shown they can match LSU stat for stat
01:14and have a little bit of an edge on that rushing side.
01:17CJ Baxter, Jason Patterson in the backfield.
01:19You know I've been on Kentucky a lot this year.
01:21I had them last year at South Carolina, last week at South Carolina.
01:24The issue for me, and we talked about this, Kevin, week one versus Clemson.
01:30Sam Levitt going to keep turning over the ball.
01:32He turned it over on play one versus Clemson.
01:35Didn't matter.
01:36The only point Clemson got.
01:37He's thrown seven intersections.
01:39Well, guess what?
01:40Kentucky's among the top five teams in the country enforcing turnovers.
01:44They forced 10 of them.
01:45And I've mentioned this before, outside of a disastrous second half against Bama,
01:50a game they led by four at halftime.
01:53They've been one of the bigger surprises in this country this year.
01:57Went into College Station and beat A&M.
02:00If they can force a couple of turnovers, I like the points here at home.
02:05You're getting eight and a half.
02:06I think the number's inflated for the same reasons why you like LSU.
02:10They're a big-time team with a big-time offense, big-time defense.
02:14If this was six and a half or seven, I might be staying away and being on your side.
02:20I just think eight and a half is too much for a Kentucky team
02:22that is playing really good football right now.
02:26Yeah, we're going to find out, I think, a good amount about both of these squads here,
02:31and I'm excited to.
