00:00OK.
00:01Do you believe that Fernando Mendoza would look clueless
00:04in week one?
00:05Yes.
00:06Wow.
00:07OK.
00:08He looked clueless in his first game for the preseason
00:11with the pick.
00:12So you know what I'm talking about.
00:13That's fair.
00:14That's fair.
00:15What happened the last time you saw Kirk Cousins?
00:18Who?
00:19This is why the Raiders are setting themselves up
00:22for the future, but they're going to be a low, whatever,
00:25high draft pick team again.
00:27But Kirk Cousins looked clueless last time
00:29I saw him in a Falcons uniform.
00:31I don't expect for that to change.
00:34And for me, Raiders know what they're doing.
00:36At some point, the organization needs to start winning.
00:39You made this pick, your fans are excited.
00:44If you can't put this kid in to pump some life
00:47into this organization, losing with Fernando Mendoza,
00:51no one's going to give you any grief about.
00:54Every game you lose with Kirk Cousins that you don't play
00:58Fernando Mendoza, you will be crucified, and rightfully so.
01:01And he was number one overall, Tim.
01:03It's not like he was the third rounder like Dak Prescott.
01:06Correct.
01:06Like, oh, I'm so surprised he's so good.
01:08Again.
01:08This is your number one overall pick.
01:10McNabb was number two, and it worked.
01:13Is that a number one, Tim?
01:14It's got to set the franchise up.
01:18History shows the Raiders process works.
01:22Not over the past two decades.
01:24It hasn't worked for the Raiders.
01:26The Raiders process works?
01:28No, no.
01:28I'm talking about the way they're going about things.
01:32Yes, yes.
01:34Okay.
01:34Peyton Manning, number one pick, started multiple Super Bowls.
01:38Andrew Luck started multiple, well, not multiple Super Bowls,
01:41but franchise quarterback.
01:43Trevor Lawrence started right out the gate.
01:45CJ Stroud, regardless of what you think of him now,
01:47started right out the gate, had the most impressive year we've ever seen
01:49from a rookie.
01:50Jayden Daniels.
01:50Jayden Daniels started rookie year, went to the NFC Championship.
01:54Caleb Williams started.
01:55Dumpster fire.
01:56Look at it now.
